Generally, you can thus have your order delivered at home very fast.
All products are divided in sections, and are alphabetically listed on author within each section.
New products are presented on the first page of the section they belong to. So there are four pages with new books and DVDs.
We have chosen for taking up books and DVD's side-by-side.
But they are clearly recognizable by both their description and symbol:
Most DVD's are region-free, meaning they playable on any DVD-player. DVD's can also be protected with a region-code.
For example, region 2 is the European code and region 1 the American code.
To be able to play DVD's with various region-codes you'll need a so-called multi-region DVD-player. Consult your manual or dealer.
You can play any DVD (no matter what region-code) on a PC that has a DVD-player.
Just use the excellent and free program VLC (Windows and Mac). VLC simply ignores region-codes.
With your computer you can also make a copy (for your own private use only!), of which you remove the region-code.
For this you can use for example DVD-Decrypter (Windows) or MacTheRipper (Mac).
In practise this means you can buy a region 1 DVD and make it suitable for a region 2 DVD-player.

For this you need to have both the QuickTime plug-in as FlashPlayer plug-in installed in your browser.
Just download QuickTime and FlashPlayer for free for your PC or Mac and install them.
On a Mac also Flip4Mac is an excellent free plugin for playing WMF-files
